RSNA always delivers innovation. Here are some of the standout updates making waves this year!
Foundational models make their mark
Foundational models are taking center stage early, with AIdoc making headlines for its “breakthrough” FDA submission of the CARE™ Foundation Model. Think of it as the AI equivalent of a keynote moment: one model capable of reliably spotting activity across multiple modalities and clinical use cases, designed to streamline radiologists’ workflows and support faster, more consistent decision-making.
Workflow and reporting in the spotlight
Structured reporting is getting an AI-powered boost this year. Gleamer unveiled its new “Voice” application, designed to streamline structured reporting by integrating AI-detected findings directly into radiologists’ reports. The goal: reduce reporting time, improve consistency, and let radiologists focus more on clinical decisions than data entry.
From single solutions to AI platforms
RSNA 2025 is showing a clear trend: the focus in radiology AI is on giving radiologists a more seamless experience, where multiple AI tools work together across workflows, reducing friction and improving efficiency. Recent announcements highlight this shift: Harrison has officially become an AI platform, while Gleamer and Avicenna are also rolling out platform strategies to unify multiple AI algorithms under one ecosystem.
RSNA 2025 offered plenty of exciting innovations, and we’re already looking forward to seeing what next year will bring!
