Automatic co-registration of the SPECT images with the patient's MRI. Interictal SPECT image subtraction is applied on the ictal image and the epileptogenic zone is identified. The SISCOM procedure is recommended by the EANM in the study of epilepsy, and provides high sensitivity and specificity in the localization of the epileptogenic focus. Neurocloud SISCOM provides a parametric map of the voxels identified as epileptogenic zone on MRI, data tables with the maximum Z-Score for each region of interest (ROI) as well as the percentage overlap of the focus and the SPECT - MRI fusion image.

Intended Use Statements
Intended use (according to CE) The Neurocloud SISCOM software is intended to perform the SISCOM analysis of ictal-interictal SPECT images. The two SPECT images are normalized in intensity and subtracted, as detailed in the previous bibliography on the SISCOM methodology. The MRI image is not modified or processed, and it is used only for anatomical reference. Neurocloud SISCOM is not an automatic diagnostic tool, and it is not intended to provide any diagnostic guess. Nor the software results nor the provided report are intended to provide a diagnosis. The results must be reviewed and validated by a Nuclear Medicine Physician, which is the intended user of the device.
